Virtual Access Steps
Follow these simple steps to connect to the Peptide Therapeutics Symposium:
- Register to attend:
- Check your email:
After you register, you will receive an email from email@example.com with the link and password to the PTS virtual symposium website. All Symposium content and session links will be found on this site. Two days prior to the Symposium, we will resend the link and password to the virtual symposium site to the email address you used to register.
- Download Zoom:
Make sure to download Zoom. If you don’t already have it installed, you can do so here by clicking the download button under “Zoom Client for Meetings”:
- Download the program book:
The Symposium program book will be posted to the PTS virtual symposium website by October 14th. It will also be included in the email you will receive two days before the Symposium.
- Check out the posters:
Poster PDFs and video summaries will be posted to the PTS virtual symposium website beginning on October 14th. You will have the opportunity to have discussions with poster presenters in smaller breakout sessions from 10:30 a.m. – 12:50 p.m. PDT on Thursday, October 22 and from 2:45 p.m. – 5:05 p.m. PDT on Friday, October 23. Session links and times will be listed under each poster on the PTS virtual symposium website.
- Click the link to connect:
Between 7:45am – 8:00am Pacific Daylight Time on the morning of the Symposium, click the link to join from the PTS virtual symposium website. The Symposium is taking place from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (PDT) on October 22nd and 23rd, 2020.
- Check your audio:
When you connect, there will be music playing. If you can’t hear it, test your audio settings:
- Make sure your volume is turned up.
- Look at your audio settings in the Zoom Webinar and make sure the correct output is checked under the ‘Select a Speaker’ menu.
- If you don’t have a speaker on your computer, you can plug in a headset.
- Ask the speakers a question:
There will be time at the end of each presentation for speakers to answer questions. Click the Q&A button and type your question. The speakers will answer as many questions as time permits at the end of each session. Any unanswered questions can be posted on the PTS virtual symposium website discussion board and will be answered by the speakers after the conclusion of the conference.
- Technical questions:
We will have technical staff available to answer questions before and during the sessions. Their contact information will be sent two days before the Symposium and posted to the PTS virtual symposium website.
- Conference questions:
All additional questions can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
- Watch the symposium recording:
Each presentation will be recorded and uploaded to the PTS virtual symposium website following the conclusion of the conference. They will remain available for viewing until November 30th.

The password can be found in your registration confirmation email and will be resent to the email address you used to register two days before the start of the Symposium.
