Virtual Access Steps
Follow these simple steps to connect to the Peptide Therapeutics Symposium:
Check your email:
After you register, you will receive an email from iuconfs@iu.edu with information about the virtual conference. For this year’s conference, we will use a virtual conference platform called Whova. All Symposium content will be found on this site. One week prior to the Symposium, we will send log-in instructions for the Whova virtual platform to the email address you used to register.
Download the program book:
The Symposium program book will be posted to the Whova virtual platform by October 9th.
Check out the posters:
Poster PDFs and video summaries will be posted to the Whova virtual platform beginning on October 9th.
Click the link to connect:
Click the link to join each session from the Whova agenda.
Check your audio:
When you connect, there will be music playing. If you can’t hear it, test your audio settings:
- Make sure your volume is turned up.
- Look at your audio settings in the Zoom Webinar and make sure the correct output is checked under the ‘Select a Speaker’ menu.
- If you don’t have a speaker on your computer, you can plug in a headset.
Ask the speakers a question:
We will utilize the “Raise hand” feature in Zoom to take questions live from the audience. If you have a question for our in-person or virtual speakers, simply click the raise hand button and when the session moderator calls on you, you will be given permission to unmute and speak your question. If we run out of time to address live questions during the session, you can also type your question in the session Q&A function within Whova. Speakers will type responses after the conclusion of their session.
Technical questions:
We will have technical staff available to answer questions before and during the sessions. Their contact information will be sent one week before the Symposium and posted to the Whova virtual platform.
Conference questions:
All additional questions can be sent to mewilcox@iu.edu.
Watch the symposium recording:
Each presentation will be recorded and uploaded to the Whova virtual platform following the conclusion of the conference. They will remain available for viewing until December 31st.
